bugs

YESTERDAY,
the bug fly inside the light bulb itself. then it died there. so i was thinking why was it attracted to light, and i searched the net!

I mean it was really stupid to fly inside then get trapped ownself.
I was thinking the circle of light was like fire to us.
Then the way to escape was actually to go through the light bulb and go out, but since it's freaking hot, the moth would be too scared to go out so it just stayed inside until it finally died. so sad. very stupid.
but since it's so hot then why enter that place in the first place?

Internet says:
Moths may be naturally attracted to a bright moon, causing them
to fly higher and helping to disperse the species over a wider range.
If this is the case, then moths may be mistaking artificial lights for
the moon.

Another similar idea is that moths navigate by the moon or the
stars. Thus a moth trying to go in a straight line could do so
by keeping the moon always to the same side. This navigation method
would fail for artificial lights, possibly causing the moths to
endlessly circle the light source.

If they attracted to light okay lah, but why stay there until you die?
VERY STUPID.

I blog but you don't have to understand.
