I think having that adding Facebook friends allows one to think that he/she has mantained that link with the person even though they won't ever meet one another again. I hope that everyone still remembers that meeting that person face to face is a really different feeling from meeting in facebook photos, and that talking face to face is certainly more amazing than writing on the wall. Whee.
